Research has shown that good nutrition and hydration is especially beneficial for older

people in the prevention of falls, illnesses and mental health issues. With the onset of dementia, cooking for one and eating alone can be major causes of older people failing to meet their nutritional and hydration needs adequately, resulting in increased admissions to hospital.
